CAL NELSON, PRINCIPAL

 

 

Cal Nelson founded Pacific Construction Services in 1981, and has full ownership of the company.  He enjoys being actively involved in every aspect of the business - especially working directly with clients.

 

Along with many years of hands-on experience in the field, Cal has a natural esthetic sense and takes pleasure in finding interesting and appropriate materials to fit particular living spaces.  He also appreciates a challenge and excels when working with a talented team to find the best solutions.

 

He is also an avid carpenter and wood worker, and builds custom furniture. He has a wife and two sons living in the North Beach neighborhood of Seattle.

 

 

BRIAN DODD, PE SE, Associate

 

Brian Dodd consulted on several Pacific Construction projects prior to joining the firm in 2008.  As a licensed civil and structural engineer who owned his own firm for 25 years, DODD Pacific Engineering, his experience in dealing with design professionals is a valuable asset to Pacific Construction's clients. He works with the designers and subcontractors during the entire project to ensure constructablilty and quality that leads to savings in construction costs, and accurate planning and scheduling.

 

He has designed and managed construction for multi-family housing, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects for Owners and developers across the western USA.
